The concept of occupational balance began gaining scholarly attention around 2012. My initial exploration of this concept started from the perspective of occupational therapists, which gradually evolved and culminated in the development of the Model of Occupational Wholeness. Early discussions and collaborations with scholars in this field began in Iran and continued through key gatherings such as the COTEC conference in Sweden and further engagements in COTEC-ENOTE in Galway. These collaborative efforts eventually led to the presentation of the first workshop on the model in Norway and expanded to other countris as it can be seen in the diagram below:
